Lori Fowler joined Legacy Real Estate Group as a Realtor in February of 2017. Originally from Van Buren County in southeast Iowa, she and her family moved to Oskaloosa eight years ago after having been out of state for thirty years. She has music degrees from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and taught band in Missouri and Oklahoma schools. After moving to the Detroit, Michigan area she was a stay-at-home mom to three daughters: Debra, Olivia, and Rhyienne. When the youngest daughter started pre-school, Lori returned to the workforce in Pueblo, Colorado as a medical office manager. She and her husband, Jeff, a recently retired physician with Mahaska Health Partnership, enjoy working on their mid-century modern, Usonian-style home and going to concerts. Returning recently to her musical roots, she enjoys playing trumpet in the William Penn University Concert Band and Brass Choir as well as the Oskaloosa City Band. In past years she has served on the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group Commerce Committee. As an Osky transplant, Lori is enthusiastic when it comes to assisting others that are relocating to the community, are wanting to up or down-size, or are interested in listing a property to sell. She has also successfully experienced listing and selling several commercial properties in the area. Give this proud member of the Legacy team a call or text or find her on Facebook.
